CF Breath of Life Gala 2014

Last night, myself along with a few friends, got to attend the 2014 Breath of Life Gala for Cystic Fibrosis. Most years I volunteer to set up the event but never get to actually attend the fancy shmancy part, Matt was kind enough to invite a few of us Finest to come and enjoy the festivities. It was an incredible event where they raised over $800,000 for CF!

The most memorable part of the evening were these two adorable kids who stood up on stage, in front of a room of people, and spoke about living their life with Cystic Fibrosis. They moved us with their words, their laughter and their desire to find a cure for this disease! After their speech the room lit up with people donating anywhere from $100-$25,000... it was a humbling moment to be part of.

I am honored to be part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I've been an avid supporter since my cousin Dylan was diagnosed but after my experience with the Twin Cities Finest event in October, I am even more excited to announce I am the CHAIR for the 2015 and 2016 Twin Cities Finest! Bring on the event planning with a fantastic committee - hopefully it'll be an event we can improve on each year and make it one of the best! It may not be a Gala but it's sure going to be a blast!
