Starting Fresh - Day 1

Ever have those weeks where you're out to eat 2-3 nights, grabbing food on the go and basically eating the exact opposite of how you want to eat? Ugh - that's been me, see I'm not perfect... I have days where stopping at Chipotle is much easier than cooking a meal.  These last few weeks have been very busy between work, life and work which meant my meal prep has been taking a back seat. On top of that I feel like I've been in a work out rut - overall.. it's just been a rough couple of weeks. 

It all starts fresh today... Monday! I'll be keeping track of what I eat for the next couple weeks and my workouts to see how I feel, hopefully it'll motivate me to kick everything up a notch! 

Monday:

  • Breakfast: 3 eggs scramble with a sprinkle of cheese and Frank's Hot Sauce, smoothie with 1 cup of frozen berries, a banana, protein power and almond milk. 
  • Lunch: Spinach Salad with berries topped with olive oil/vinaigrette dressing, small bowl of the White Chicken Chili
  • Dinner: Bowl of WCC and handful of cashews 
  • Snacks: Apple with almond butter 

One of the biggest goals for this change is to DRINK MORE WATER! I have fallen back into drinking Diet Coke a lot lately, because of lack of sleep, but it's no excuse. I need to force myself to drink at least 64oz of water a day, let's be honest... even more than that! Let's see how it goes! Here's to day ONE!
