Advocare 24 Day Challenge - Quick Update
Today officially marks the close of Day 20, DAY FREAKING TWENTY, on the 24 Day Advocare Challenge. I can't believe it's already been 20 days since the fiber drink was consumed at lightning speed. 20 (well 22) days without alcohol. 20 days without fried food. 20 days of retraining my body.
In all reality, it is not bad at all. When people hear I'm partaking in a 24 day challenge their immediate reaction has been... WHY?!?! or 24 days is a long time! Friends - it isn't one of those challenges where you don't eat, I'm eating so much it's ridiculous. 5-6 meals and snacks every day on top of drinking a whole lot of water. The biggest thing I have noticed is how I feel when I don't drink enough water... my body needs it. It is crazy to think I would drink 1-2 Diet Cokes every day and bypass the water. Now instead of drinking that sugary crap (still tastes delicious... I bet...sigh) I make myself a Spark for a pick me up or guzzle down my 32oz water bottle.
Eventually I'll do an entire recap of my Challenge experience - I am looking forward to a glass of wine or a beer when this is over. Just one. I think it's well deserved :)
Only 4 more days to go... Monday will be the final day of my 1st 24 Day Challenge. #wooohooo can't wait to see how much better I feel then, just have to get through the weekend filled with a kick off dinner party, Sam Smith concert, spin and yoga classes! #happygurl
